Charming little hotel, but the morning street noise was a bit annoying.

Unique location with Parisian charm and character.
Our room was cramped and poorly maintained, and the bathroom door was so noisy it disturbed our sleep. Additionally, the lack of hot water on our last night was incredibly frustrating before an international flight. The breakfast options were limited and left much to be desired, adding to my overall disappointment.

The Grand Hotel Dechampaigne has fantastic charm with its decor and vintage features. My room was delightful, showcasing wooden beams and a quaint atmosphere. Breakfast options were varied, offering fresh pastries and multiple types of cheese and sausages. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating when I requested early check-in after my long flight. WiFi service was slow but usable, which was a bit frustrating when trying to plan daily outings. Would have appreciated a better solution to the noise and internet speed issues, but the overall experience remained positive due to the location and service.

Room condition reflects a need for significant renovation!!! Poor sound insulation and thin walls compromised privacy and comfort!!! Water pressure in the shower was frustrating!!! A limited number of electrical outlets is inconvenient!!! WiFi quality was slow!!!

I enjoyed the location near the Seine. The staff provided a courtesy tray with tea and coffee, which added to the comfort of my stay. I liked having a compact refrigerator in the room to keep my drinks cool. However, I faced an issue while checking in, as the front desk did not allow me to check in despite having a reservation. This caused some inconvenience, but the rest of my experience was pleasant enough.
